Frequently Asked Questions

What draw length do I need?

Measure your wingspan, fingertip to fingertip with your arms out and palms forward, then divide by 2.5. That gives a starting point in inches. Use our draw length calculator. If it doesn't feel right once the bow arrives, we exchange it within 30 days.

What draw weight should I choose?

Pick a bow whose range covers both your comfortable weight today and the weight you want to hunt with. You should be able to draw smoothly and hold at full draw for 20 to 30 seconds without shaking. All our adult bows are adjustable, so you can start low and turn the weight up.

Is this bow legal for deer hunting in my state?

Each state sets its own rules: minimum draw weight, broadhead types, seasons. Check your state wildlife agency before the season. We list every agency on our state regulations page.

Does the bow come ready to shoot?

The Ridge, the Trail kit and the Scout Kids kit ship with accessories in the box. The Summit, Ridge Pro, Ridge Speed and Scout Pro ship as bows only, unless you choose a package. Each product page lists exactly what's in the box.

Do I need a bow press?

Not for the everyday adjustments described in the maker's manual. The Scout Pro adjusts draw length without a press. Any work on cams, strings or cables needs a bow press or a pro shop.

What arrows should I use?

Arrows matched to your draw weight and draw length: the arrow's stiffness, called spine, has to suit your bow. Each arrow page lists spine and length. Email us your draw weight and draw length and we'll tell you which arrows fit.

Can I return a bow?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, complete, in its original box, and never dry-fired. Return shipping is on you for a change of mind and on us if the bow arrived damaged, defective or wrong. See our Refund & Return Policy.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are prepared in 1 to 2 business days, then delivered in 2 to 5 business days, with tracking. Shipping is free to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii or outside the US?

Not yet.

Who can buy?

You must be 18 or older. Youth bows are bought by a parent or guardian, and children should shoot under adult supervision.
